2025 Annual Letter

Dear Inglewood Neighbors,

We are pleased to invite you to the Inglewood Maintenance Commission’s Annual Community Meeting on October 23, 2025, at 6:00 PM PDT, held at the Inglewood Golf Club.

This gathering provides an opportunity for us to connect, share updates, and discuss ways to enhance our
community. Your participation and input are invaluable in maintaining the vitality of our neighborhood, and we look forward to your attendance.

Community Updates: The board has been diligently working to preserve and improve our community’s appearance and functionality. Below is a summary of our recent progress and ongoing initiatives:

Asphalt Project Completion: The asphalt resurfacing has been successfully completed, enhancing road quality following the 2024 drainage project that replaced damaged drain lines connected to our culverts. We are finalizing payments after a comprehensive walkthrough to confirm the work meets our high standards.

Landscaping Enhancements: To maintain the pristine condition of our neighborhood, we have identified Monarch Landscape Company as a highly organized, professional, and cost-effective provider.

Tree Maintenance: We have engaged tree service companies to address overhanging branches and invasive trees, promoting safer and clearer roadways.

Speed Bump Restriping: Efforts are underway to restripe our speed bumps for improved visibility and
effectiveness. We will provide further updates as this progresses.

Dog Waste Stations: Signs, baskets, and bags have been ordered to support community cleanliness, with
installation scheduled in the near future.

Culvert Project: An inspection is planned by November to evaluate this essential infrastructure. This will be a
significant consideration in our upcoming budget, as we were quoted several hundred thousand dollars for similar work approximately 10 years ago.

Snow and Ice Removal: A preferred contractor has been selected for snow and ice removal, including salting, with a focus on key areas such as Inglewood’s million-dollar corner.

Ongoing Beaver Issues: We are actively addressing beaver-related concerns in collaboration with the City of
Kenmore.

Easement and Commercial Vehicle Policy: We are reviewing landscaping encroachments and proposing a rule to restrict commercial vehicles (such as large box trucks) from parking on our roads for more than 24 hours. Your vote on this matter will be essential.

Accounting Services: We have engaged a licensed accounting firm to ensure compliance with state regulations and to produce professional treasurer’s reports.

Staying Connected: We are excited to announce the development of a user-friendly website for the Inglewood Maintenance Commission. This resource will include a resident directory with contact information, as well as access to board member details and key documents, such as our Secretary of State filings and insurance information. If you have not yet provided your contact details, please let us know so we can include you in this initiative.

To facilitate effective communication within our community, we encourage you to reach out directly via email. We are committed to keeping everyone informed about upcoming events and developments.
